Wardour Secure Networks Ltd, a prominent provider of telephony, IT, security, CCTV, and alarm solutions, has announced the launch of its latest division, Wardour Fire and Security. This new branch aims to help businesses and individuals across the UK safeguard their properties with top-quality fire and security solutions.

The newly established division will offer a range of industry-standard services, including the sale and maintenance of fire extinguishers, the installation and management of fire alarm systems, and an expansion of Wardour’s existing CCTV and automation offerings. Simon Pell, Director of Wardour Secure Networks Ltd, explained the motivation behind this expansion. “Since we launched in 2007, the needs of our customers have evolved, and so too has our business,” he stated. “Having moved into the security space in recent years, we received numerous requests to provide fire solutions alongside our CCTV, door entry, and swing gate systems. Consequently, we decided to invest in joining the British Fire Consortium and obtaining necessary training and industry qualifications, including the EAL Level 3 BS5839 Alarm Technician certification, to become a one-stop shop for our clients’ fire and security needs.”

Recent statistics underline the importance of fire and security measures in the UK. Fire and Rescue services in England responded to 138,977 fires in the year ending March 2024. Simultaneously, police constabularies across the country reported over 234,200 burglaries during the same period. Although these figures are gradually decreasing year on year, they emphasise the vital necessity for effective preventative measures to protect homes and businesses.

With the launch of Wardour Fire and Security, the company aims to provide comprehensive services that comply with British Standards, ensuring the protection of properties and peace of mind for customers. The division’s array of solutions includes not only fire extinguishers and advanced fire systems but also CCTV and surveillance systems, alarms, and automation options such as swing gates and door entry systems. Each service is customised to meet individual client needs, enhancing reliability and safety when it matters most.

In the current landscape, where safety and security are paramount, Wardour Fire and Security’s expansion is a timely response to increasing consumer demand for integrated solutions. The company’s commitment to quality and customer service positions it as a trustworthy partner for individuals and businesses looking to bolster their fire and security measures.
