MagiKats Introduces Online Tutoring for Flexible Learning

MagiKats, a UK-based educational programme specialising in Maths and English tuition, has launched an online tutoring option, offering families a new way to access its workshops. The move is aimed at providing greater flexibility for parents and students while maintaining the programme’s interactive, skills-focused approach to education.

The new online format mirrors the structure of the in-centre workshops, with small group sessions tailored to a child’s age and ability. Each session is overseen by a trained mentor, ensuring the same quality of support and engagement as the traditional face-to-face offerings.

Sarah Marsh, Director of Operations at MagiKats, described the initiative as an important step in making learning accessible to more students. “We’re excited to extend the reach of MagiKats Tutoring,” she said. “Our online programme retains the elements children love about our workshops while offering the convenience of learning from home.”

Marsh added that the new service would not replace in-person workshops, which remain available at MagiKats centres across the country. Instead, it offers an alternative for families who prefer online learning or cannot access a centre due to distance or other commitments.

    Adapting to Modern Learning Needs

The launch reflects a growing trend in education towards hybrid learning, which combines traditional methods with digital tools. MagiKats’ online sessions aim to develop confidence and essential skills in a way that aligns with the programme’s established values, such as fostering a love of learning.

“Digital learning enhances not just academic skills but also important technological skills,” Marsh noted. “This helps children feel more confident using online resources throughout their education.”

    Interactive and Accessible

The online programme provides interactive and fun teaching through small group sessions. Children can participate in dynamic activities designed to complement their school education and boost academic progress.

To participate, children need access to a computer or tablet equipped with a camera and microphone. MagiKats’ bespoke digital platform has been developed with ease of use in mind, ensuring it caters to learners of all ages and abilities.

Parents are already praising the initiative as an accessible alternative that fits into their busy lives. Many believe the flexibility of online tutoring will make it easier to provide consistent educational support.

MagiKats workshops have long been recognised for their engaging approach to building academic skills, and the addition of an online option is expected to broaden its appeal. The programme remains committed to offering its signature in-person workshops while continuing to innovate with its digital expansion.
MagiKats is a nationwide franchise with tuition centres across the UK offering out of school tutoring in Maths and English. https://www.magikats.co.uk/
