At the 2025 China Appliance and Electronics World Expo (AWE 2025) in Shanghai, TCL CSOT, a global leader in display technology, made a striking impression with its advanced APEX technology brand and a comprehensive range of cutting-edge display solutions. The company’s showcase highlighted significant innovations that span across various sectors, from home entertainment to professional applications, reinforcing TCL CSOT’s position at the forefront of display technology.

Central to TCL CSOT’s exhibit was its APEX technology, a brand built around the core concept “PACE TO APEX.” The technology promises a pleasant viewing experience, reliable vision health, and sustainable, low-carbon production methods, all while fuelling unlimited future imagination for users worldwide. Among the notable products presented was the HVA Ultra Infinity View Display, which impressed visitors with a 178° wide viewing angle, an 88% BT2020 colour gamut, and ultra-narrow 2.9mm bezels. This flagship display delivers picture quality comparable to OLED, using proprietary HVA technology.

Other award-winning innovations captured significant attention at the expo. The Unlimited Seamless MLCD Screen won the “2025 AWE Innovation Award” for its pioneering integration of LCD and Micro LED technologies, creating a seamless 149-inch 6K*4K high-definition display. Additionally, TCL CSOT unveiled the world’s thinnest LCD laptop display, measuring just 0.99mm in thickness and weighing only 99g, setting new benchmarks for portability in the advanced display segment.

The exhibition further showcased a range of innovative products across multiple segments. Among these was the HVA Green Power Lite Display, designed to meet both China’s top energy efficiency standards and Europe’s B-level requirements. This display leverages enhanced panel transmittance and optimised Local Dimming algorithms to deliver both performance and sustainability.

For home entertainment, TCL CSOT presented a 5.5-inch LCD projector boasting Real-4K resolution (3840×2160), an impressive 800 PPI, and an industry-leading 6.2% Tr value. In the educational technology sector, the company demonstrated a specialised tablet featuring electromagnetic writing capabilities and eye-protection technology, catering to modern learning environments. Other innovations on display included advanced electronic paper displays and a super narrow border streaming rearview mirror, underscoring the versatility of TCL CSOT’s product portfolio.

In the realm of advanced display technology, TCL CSOT highlighted its leadership in Inkjet Printing OLED (IJP OLED) technology. The company’s first mass-produced 4K IJP OLED professional display (21.6 inches) and a 4K 120Hz IJP OLED Bezel-less Gaming Monitor (27 inches) have been recognised for their precise RGB pixel arrangement and superior colour accuracy, earning accolades at the event.

TCL CSOT’s extensive portfolio, spanning from consumer TVs and laptops to automotive and professional displays, demonstrates a commitment to innovation that addresses both aesthetic and functional demands. With rising global expectations for immersive and sustainable visual experiences, TCL CSOT is setting new industry standards and ensuring that its products remain at the cutting edge of technology.

As the AWE 2025 event concluded, industry experts hailed TCL CSOT’s performance as a clear indicator of the company’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of display technology and shaping the future of visual innovation across diverse consumer electronics categories.
