Children at Metta Home, a care centre for young people, were treated to a day of fun, education, and teamwork thanks to a collaborative event hosted by Vantage Foundation and V&A Solution AEC Co Ltd. The event aimed to offer a blend of practical learning and recreational activities, fostering both financial literacy and social interaction.

Vantage Foundation, known for connecting local companies with charities to directly benefit communities, facilitated the partnership between V&A Solution and Metta Home. The day began with an engaging talk by a representative from V&A Solution, offering the children practical advice on how to manage their money wisely. The session focused on the importance of saving and responsible spending, aiming to equip the young participants with essential life skills.

Following the educational segment, the children were treated to a McDonald’s lunch, which brought a lively and joyful atmosphere to the event. The meal provided an opportunity for the children to relax and enjoy themselves before the afternoon’s activities.

The day continued with a series of fun-filled games that encouraged teamwork and cooperation among the children. Traditional Thai childhood games such as Captain’s Ball, a memory game, and a balancing water balloon race were highlights of the afternoon. The children eagerly participated, filling the air with laughter and excitement. The games not only entertained but also served as a valuable opportunity for the children to strengthen their bonds and develop teamwork skills.

Steven Xie, Executive Director of Vantage Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, saying, “At Vantage Foundation, we focus on connecting local companies with local charities so they can give back directly to their communities. Facilitating partnerships like the one between V&A Solution and Metta Home allows us to bring positive, lasting experiences to these children and create deeper connections within the community.”

Pomme Natchaphan, Thailand Country Manager for V&A Solution, highlighted the joy of being involved in the event. “We were thrilled to spend the day with the children at Metta Home. Teaching them about good money habits was just one part of the day, but seeing their excitement during the games and lunch was truly the highlight. It was a pleasure to give back, and we are thankful to Vantage Foundation for connecting us with Metta Home.”

Pakorn Romruen, Head of Home for the Observed Juveniles at Metta Home, expressed gratitude for the support. “Today’s activities provided an important balance of education and recreation, contributing to the children’s overall development. Events like this not only help foster essential life skills such as teamwork and social interaction but also bring much-needed positivity to their daily lives. We are thankful to V&A Solution and Vantage Foundation for their support in creating a meaningful and enriching experience for the children in our care.”

Vantage Foundation continues its mission of raising awareness about challenges such as depression, anxiety, and loneliness, which often contribute to social immobility. By fostering partnerships like this, the foundation hopes to offer young people the experiences and support they need to thrive.
