‘pureLiFi, a global leader in LiFi technology, has introduced its latest innovation, the LINXC Bridge system, at Mobile World Congress Barcelona. Developed in partnership with Solace Power, the new system aims to revolutionise Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) broadband deployment, offering a self-installable, high-performance solution for outdoor Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).

By eliminating complex installation processes, the LINXC Bridge is expected to reduce subscriber acquisition costs, shorten installation times, and enhance user experience. It will also increase network efficiency, enabling broadband providers to deliver more reliable and high-speed connectivity to consumers.

A leap forward in broadband deployment

The LINXC Bridge system has been designed to simplify the installation of outdoor CPE, making it easier for consumers to set up broadband connections without professional assistance. Instead of requiring drilling or running cables through walls, the system uses LiFi technology and wireless power links through windows to establish connections.

This approach is expected to improve network efficiency, particularly for 5G FWA connections. By leveraging LiFi’s ability to transmit data using invisible light, combined with Solace Power’s wireless energy transfer technology, broadband providers can increase capacity on sub-6 GHz 5G networks and mmWave spectrum.

Since the concept was introduced in 2024, the LINXC Bridge has attracted strong market interest. The system is now available for carrier trials, with industry leaders eager to explore its potential.

    Game-changing connectivity for broadband providers

Speaking about the new system, pureLiFi CEO Alistair Banham emphasised its transformative impact on the broadband sector.

“The enthusiastic response from our collaborations with leading global telecom brands validates the transformative potential of the LINXC Bridge System,” he said.

“This technology is set to revolutionise the economics of FWA and broadband deployment worldwide. By making high-speed connectivity more accessible, affordable, and efficient, we are improving service quality and user satisfaction. The market is clearly shifting towards LiFi as the solution to today’s and tomorrow’s connectivity challenges.”

    Advancing multi-gigabit LiFi technology

Alongside the LINXC Bridge, pureLiFi is also demonstrating its latest multi-gigabit LiFi capabilities, featuring a high-speed, low-latency 5 Gbps LiFi connection. This new technology opens possibilities for ultra-fast gaming, immersive VR/AR experiences, real-time AI applications, and wireless audio/video transmission for consumer electronics.

With military-grade security, ultra-low latency, and superior reliability, the 5 Gbps LiFi connection is now available for evaluation by businesses and telecom providers, signalling a step forward in next-generation wireless communication.

Pushing the boundaries of LiFi innovation

The unveiling of the LINXC Bridge and the latest LiFi advancements highlights pureLiFi’s commitment to innovation and technological excellence. By continuing to develop cutting-edge LiFi solutions, the company is at the forefront of reshaping broadband connectivity, offering faster, more secure, and more efficient wireless communications for both consumers and businesses.
