MiTAC Computing Technology Corporation, a global leader in server platform design, has introduced its latest server innovations at SC24 in Atlanta, Georgia. Showcased at booth #2543, the new lineup is designed to cater to the growing demands of high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI).

The servers integrate some of the most advanced processors and accelerators in the market, including AMD EPYC™ 9005 Series CPUs, AMD Instinct™ MI325X GPU accelerators, and Intel® Xeon® 6 processors. These systems offer enhanced performance and density for next-generation workloads, with a focus on optimising energy efficiency and scalability.

Servers Designed for AI and HPC

Leading the lineup are two standout products aimed at AI and HPC applications. The 8U MiTAC G8825Z5, powered by AMD EPYC 9005 Series CPUs and Instinct MI325X GPU accelerators, supports up to 6TB of DDR5 memory and includes eight hot-swap U.2 drive trays. This server is engineered for large-scale AI and HPC workloads.

Meanwhile, the 2U dual-socket MiTAC TYAN TN85-B8261 is tailored for deep learning tasks. It offers support for up to four dual-slot GPUs, 24 DDR5 RDIMM slots, and eight NVMe U.2 drives, making it an excellent choice for data-intensive environments.

    Storage and Cloud Innovations

For cloud applications, the 1U MiTAC TYAN GC68C-B8056 provides 24 DDR5 DIMM slots and 12 hot-swap NVMe U.2 bays, delivering high performance in a compact design. Another offering, the 2U single-socket MiTAC TYAN TS70A-B8056, is focused on high-IOPS NVMe storage, ensuring optimal data handling capabilities.

MiTAC also introduced the 2U 4-node MiTAC M2810Z5 server, designed for scalable performance. Supporting up to 3,072GB of DDR5 memory and four hot-swappable E1.S drives per node, it caters to organisations with demanding workloads.

    Intel-Based Solutions

MiTAC highlighted its new Intel Xeon 6-based servers at SC24, promising efficiency and robust performance. The 2U dual-socket MiTAC R2520G6 supports in-memory computing with up to 8TB of DDR5 memory and five PCIe 5.0 x16 slots. For storage-intensive environments, the 2U single-socket MiTAC R2513G6 offers 24 SATA drives and integrated SAS RAID management.

The flagship 4U MiTAC G4520G6 GPU server, featuring dual sockets and support for up to eight GPUs, is tailored for parallel AI workloads. It also includes 11 PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and 8TB of DDR5 memory.

    Sustainability and Scalability

MiTAC’s partnership with Intel was further demonstrated with the inclusion of the Intel® Server D50DNP Family. The Denali Pass compute module features direct liquid cooling, DDR5 DIMMs at speeds of up to 5,600MT/s, and two NVMe/SATA M.2 drives.

With a diverse product range leveraging AMD and Intel technologies, MiTAC Computing continues to address the performance and budgetary needs of modern enterprises. These innovations underline MiTAC’s commitment to driving sustainable and scalable solutions in the server industry. MiTAC Computing Technology Corporation website:
