Plast Eurasia reaches its 35th edition in Istanbul this December, staged by Tüyap. Raw materials, plastics machinery and production technologies come together there, while organisers step up outreach to professional visitors in key European markets before opening.
İstanbul – Plast Eurasia runs on 2-5 December 2026, with Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, Istanbul, as its venue; Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. is the organiser, working alongside PAGEV and with support from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Purchasing professionals, distributors, raw material producers, technology providers and manufacturers will meet there to build commercial links right across the plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
Outreach across Europe gathers momentum
With roughly 3 months to run before opening, 90% of the exhibition space is sold. Organisers anticipate 80,000 visitors from home and abroad, and professional visitor campaigns are targeting Germany, Belgium, Greece and Romania, plus France, Italy and Poland, as well as Middle Eastern and North African markets.
For industry professionals in Europe, the December event gathers machinery suppliers, materials companies and further plastics businesses within one exhibition setting in Istanbul. Designed to generate fresh commercial contacts, the international visitor programme also helps companies build on trading relationships already in place.
Equipment, raw materials and production technology on show
Plastic production machinery sits alongside raw materials and chemicals as the two central pillars of the exhibition. Machinery solutions and next-generation production technologies are also covered, with themes such as efficiency, innovation and value-added production shaping the fair’s commercial agenda.
The product scope is broad enough to let buyers and technical specialists examine equipment, materials and production methods during a single trip, while exhibitors introduce new technologies, products and sector solutions to international audiences.
Anniversary events revisit 35 years of sector change
The 35th-anniversary programme features a Milestones Map, whose chronological display sets out key stages in the history of the fair alongside developments in the plastics industry. An exhibition of historic plastics production machinery will likewise show how manufacturing technologies have shifted over time.
Plaques will go to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine at the opening ceremony, recognising the long-standing involvement of three companies that have exhibited throughout the fair’s 35-year journey.
Through The Stage is Yours!, exhibitors receive 30-minute presentation slots in which to share success stories, value-added products, technologies and industry solutions with visitors.
Guided access for hosted buyer delegations
Purchasing delegations from abroad will locate the right exhibitors and product groups more quickly through the Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme. Guided routes, trips to demo and event areas, entry to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and dedicated support services will be open to participating buyers.
Turkish Airlines, the Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, is offering discounted fares on eligible international return flights into Istanbul flown from 25 November to 12 December 2026, with Economy Class prices cut by 10% and Business Class by 15%.
