Aquinas College in Stockport has launched a revamped website, marking a significant step in enhancing its digital presence and improving its engagement with students, parents, and the wider community. The new platform, developed by Voodoo Agency, aims to showcase the college’s educational offerings while promoting its community-focused values.

The website redesign comes as part of the college’s broader strategy to improve its online communication and accessibility. With a modern, mobile-responsive design, the new site provides a user-friendly interface that adheres to the highest standards of web accessibility and functionality. The site complies with W3C 2.1 AA standards, ensuring that it is usable for all individuals, including those with disabilities.

The updated site also includes a number of new features aimed at enhancing user experience. These include an advanced search function to allow visitors to quickly access relevant information, third-party software integration for added functionality, and advanced analytics tools for continuous optimisation.

Danny Pearson, Principal of Aquinas College, spoke about the importance of the project: “Aquinas College strives for excellence in all aspects of its educational offerings, so partnering with Voodoo Agency for our website redesign was a natural fit. They have done a remarkable job putting together a digital platform that showcases our broad curriculum, embodies our community spirit, and celebrates our achievements.”

The new website not only highlights the college’s academic strengths, but also strengthens its connection to the local community. With easy-to-navigate pages, it provides a comprehensive overview of the college’s courses, extracurricular activities, and student resources. The goal is to create a seamless experience for students, parents, and staff, ensuring that everyone can easily access the information they need.

Simon Cocker, founder and Managing Director of Voodoo Agency, expressed his pride in the project, saying: “Our team is proud to support Aquinas College with a website that truly reflects its excellence and community spirit. This project represents our commitment to creating digital experiences that resonate with our client’s values and goals.”

The new platform aims to improve not only the experience of those already part of the Aquinas College community, but also potential new students looking for more information about the college’s offerings. The college’s strengths in education, along with its emphasis on community, are clearly evident in the design and functionality of the website, which will continue to evolve to meet the needs of its users.

Aquinas College has long been regarded as one of the North West’s top educational institutions, and the new website aims to further cement this reputation. The college’s leadership believes that the site will play a crucial role in continuing to attract and engage students, as well as strengthening its position within the region’s educational landscape.
